Job Description
You will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the functions and play an integral role in the overall sales & development of the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, training and management to the entire sales team including outside sales, sales operations, sales training, account management, and inside sales. Team consists of 40 individuals with various levels of responsibility.
- Develop and implement annual sales plan forecasts and manage to monthly, quarterly, and annual expense and sales budgets
- Establish clear sales metrics and leading indicators for measuring progress and maintaining focus
- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Recruiting top talent into the firm, setting objectives, and monitor their performance
- Collaborate with department and regional leaders, including marketing leaders, and service line leaders.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of sales experience with minimum of 10+ years in sales management
- Experience with professional services sales is a must
- Experience managing sales teams of at least 25 members
- Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed
- Strong leadership skills, able to lead change, coach and motivate individuals
- Willingness to take an active, hands-on leadership role in addition to developing strategy
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Ability to solve problems and drive alignment across decision-makers within the organization
- Strong data acumen and analysis skills. Able to integrate business knowledge, financial knowledge, and analyses of available information to make sound business decisions
- Metrics driven; highly disciplined
- Engaging leadership style that builds and sustains credibility with staff, colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
- Salary DOE of 250-300k total Comp.
